The most important symptom of this disease is the secretion of gum on the branches of the tree.
Infection occurs at the wound site due to pruning, insects, mechanical factors, frostbite or sunburn.

The most important way to fight canker disease is to prevent it.

Washing pruning tools with antiseptic solutions and covering the pruning sites to prevent fungus penetration are the most important ways to prevent this disease.

Green Figs rust are a fungal disease.

In this disease, first, a number of yellow spots appear on the upper surface of the leaves. As the disease spreads, the number of spots increases and covers the entire surface of the leaf, then the color of the spots changes and becomes brown.

One of the most important pests of the fig tree is the fig mite, which damages it by feeding on the cell sap of the leaves. As a result of the activity of the fig tartan mite, the leaves of the tree become brown and dusty and start to fall.

When the leaves fall, the fruit remains unripe and falls.

Tartan fig mite, small, straw-yellow to green mites that sometimes have several dark spots on both sides of their body. Different poisons and acaricides can be used to fight the fig mite, such as Envidoraspid poison, Hexathiazox acaricide, bromopropylate, abamactin.

The damage caused by the fig eriophid mite is that this insect sits on the leaves of the trees and feeds on its greens or chlorophyll. Due to the activity of the mite, the fruits remain small and unripe, the leaves turn yellow and fall, and the growth of young stems is disrupted.

The body of this mite is narrow, spindle-shaped and white to yellow in color. The eriophid mite spends the winter under the scales of leaf buds.

To fight this pest, the mite population can be controlled by using sulfur at the same time as the leaf buds open.
